Natural dyes are the dye that is extracted from the color pigments which are naturally presented in the flowers, roots fruits, leaves, barks, and pollens of a plant. Henna
Henna leaves are harvested from the shrub ”Lawsonia intermis.” Henna produces brown color tending towards a red-orange.
Saffron
The dye is extracted from the stigma of the flower, which is boiled in water and the color is extracted. It imparts a bright yellow color. The wool, cotton and can be dyed with saffron.

This dye I obtained from the root of the plant “Curcuma longa”. The turmeric root is dried crushed in powder form and boiled with water to extract the dye.
